felt really really satisfied that day with my job.. :)
cos there was this girl who usually comes in during recess to talk to me with her friends.. then suddenly one day she said she wanted to come to me for official counselling.. then i felt like yayyy! i actually managed to build enough rapport such that she feels comfortable to talk to me further about deeper issues.. so it actually felt very fulfilling..
and this is really the satisfaction that money cannot buy :)
and i must remember that this is what i am in this job for.. and hope i don lose sight of this amongst all the other things that i face in the job..

and i really can see how counselling works for me as well.. :) after going through two sessions of counselling. .i really felt way way better and like everytime it's new insights for me.. and it jus simply feels good to talk to someone who would listen.. and like soemtimes you feel like you dont feel like telling ppl some things cos it's the same thing over n over again.. and they might just be sick of hearing it.. so it feels good to speak to someone who would just patiently listen.. and that's therapeutic in itself :)
i guess it's really true when they say that counselling is like spa for the mind! yay! looking forward to more sessions :D
