Dude, you made me *cry*. And not only over the boy, but also over Sheppard/Teyla. How could I not love? I insist on whining as a prerogative, though.

One thing I love about sga, and especially most of the sga fanfic I read, is the (Rodney & John) banter and the humour. Oh my god, the humour.

I knew I'd like this story from the moment I saw your name on it. (And how can you go wrong with forced alien marriage?) But I didn't know how much I'd love it. John's inept jokes. Rodney's huffy indignation. Ronon's stoic wariness. Teyla's fussing. My team, oh my team.

They've only just gotten to Vacuna, but I'm already flailing in happiness.

(And that your Rodney/Ronon story seems to be 3POV John? So much love because I know there will be so much fun.)

I know, right?!? This fandom is pure comedy, and it's great to have a show we can just let loose and laugh at. Er, with. Er, both. Anyway, humor is not my default setting as a writer, and I think I'm getting better at it because of these guys. They make it surprisingly easy!

Anyway, I'm glad you liked the beginning so much, and I see below that there was some follow-through. *g* Thanks!

This fandom does tend to write short. I don't know if it's because of the Total World Dominance of sga_flashfic, or if the internet is sucking all our attention spans as the years go by.

Anyway, I hope you've made your way through it by now and you liked it!

As you are about my only source of Rodney/Ronon (damn, there needs to be more of that! I love McShep, but McDex is severely neglected in this fandom), of course I liked it!

Having said that, I loved it for its characterisation - John's inability to deal while everyone else has no trouble and in particular, I adored Ronon's cherishing of Rodney, especially with the Satedan language. You really do convey the depth of emotion there - how Rono is quiet, but deep in his devotion and Rodney just really doesn't know how to deal with someone who loves him unconditionally.

On a concrit note, there are a couple of typos - nothing major, just some dropped letters - 'yo' instead of you, 'ths' instead of 'this', stuff like that. No real biggies.

Thank you for sharing! I think you now hold the record for the longest McDex fic in existence! COngratulations! ;-)
