Hey, thanks! I'm really surprised that you read it -- I didn't know you were interested in the Spider-titles at all! And if you read it to try it out... well, *hugs*

Spider-Girl is one of those bittersweet ideas, an AU where the baby lived and inherited powers. It's a lovely book, full of old-school goodness, but you are always reminded that the "real" Peter Parker (although that's up for debate) has never been so lucky.

Wow, that was wonderful! I'm glad you posted it here. Now I'm ready to attack my Spider-Girl back issues! I have to admit that the different universes made my head spin a bit (need to read more comics), but this was so moving and beautiful. You write familial relationships so wonderfully. I also teared up at the end, nothing is more emotionally involving to me than issues with parents and children. I feel like I'm rambling incoherently here so I'll just some it up with: I loved this!

Oh, yay! I was hoping some of my Spidey f-list would give the story a chance! This is actually one of my favorites pre-LJ.

I wouldn't worry about confusion, the continuities are a bit AU, even so, since I added baby Ben to the 616 universe. The Spider-Girl stuff was all canon, though.
