A bit late: 9/11 commission report
Ok, I know I'm pretty late to the party, but the 9/11 commission report had always struck me as a "too long; didn't read" kind of a document. And, with a name like that, it's gotta be dry to boot.
Well, my new job involves me looking at lots of PDFs, which oftentimes means firing up my favourite search engine to find a random PDF on the web. Sometimes, I even look at them too :)
In any case, tonight's reading is the 9/11 Commission Report. I still haven't read the whole thing (and probably never will), but the first section -- "We have some planes" -- is remarkably gripping. It's pretty much a play-by-play of the attack, including transcripts, and really gives me the chills all over.
