So I'm still a bit irritated, deep down, that I have to organize EVERYTHING in the house. Rob has puttered around with the tasks I gave him, like water the lawn, hook up the DVD player, and clean the patio furniture. I spent all day Friday cleaning and organizing the kitchen and dining room. I spent several hours today doing that also, but had a few more than welcome interruptions. We went to Lowe's and bought a rug for the entryway which we both totally love, It is a pretty leaf pattern in a neutral tone that looks great on the hardwood. I have some pictures I will post soon of the run and other things around the house. I just realized my laptop does not have the nifty spaces for memory cards like our regular computer does. Since Rob is taking my laptop on his TDY he leaves on tomorrow, I'll have plenty of time on the big computer. We stopped by Publix, too. I forgot how much I loved Publix. Always with the free samples, this time of some lovely raspberries. After we got home, I promptly made some iced cranberry/pomegranate green tea with muddled raspberries and strawberries (very refreshing on a 90+ degree day like Florida just is, all the time). My first Netflix movies arrived, and we watched
What Happens in Vegas which was a lot funnier than I thought it was going to be, and much less corny. There was some pretty funny dialogue, and Dennis Leary made a great judge. What I'm loving about my house is that I have empty space in the cupboards. I have several mostly empty shelves. I'll take a picture of the kitchen tomorrow with the sunlight, it will look much prettier.
