I felt AWFUL today. My head pounded all day. Everything tasted awful. I was hyped up on cold medicine that didn't seem to be helping much. I was cold all day, even though it got up to nearly 80 degrees. I was exceedingly tired. My throat hurts, even after hot tea and anti-inflammatory. I barely made it through the school day. I could tell I had a short fuse and tried hard to compensate for it. The worst part is that I have to go to school tomorrow because my CT has to take her mom to the doctor. I left school early today, getting home when school normally would have let out.
My friends had new countertops installed Monday and the new sink today. Only the sink is taking FOREVER. The plumber is making a lot of comments that makes me think he has no idea what he is doing. Their RO system seems to mystify him, and he has been here for an hour longer than we thought he would. Sean has reverted to his pretend polite "mm-hmm" responses. The plumber says things like "I really don't get this" and "I've never seen this before" "this is interesting".
I want to take a nap. Badly.
