Kim, my bus buddy on the way there. It was her 21st birthday and she got smashed on warm 40's. Gross.
The kick ass people I had breakfast with at like 4:30 in the morning. The guy on the left is a film maker and just fucking hilarious and smart as all get out. Middle guy was really interesting. Very meek, quiet, shy. He's majoring in Fiction Writing at Columbia. I asked him what his genre of choice was "Horror. I love guts!" he replied. Mmmkay. Weird anyway, but when paired with the fact that he's super timid - very strange. Once the marching started he was the freaking loudest guy out there! I thought his head would explode. Very interesting how a person can encompass both ends of a spectrum like that. Lastly, on the right is Penny. She's one of the organizers of WCW and just cool. She helped me try and teach some kids to play Euchre. We were not triumphant.
Thomas, my bus buddy on the way home and fellow Pisces. (BTW those kids in the background were 16 and REALLY obnoxious. They kept doing the 'made you look' fake out on people.)
Monitors orientation
Super Bush
You can't really tell but this guy was REALLY OLD. Also, really sweet.
I'm a horrible picture taker - the kid in this picture had a shirt that said "Worst President Ever". It was really cute.
This cop was waking around taking everyone's picture and just generally being an asshole. I decided I'd snap a few of him. He got pissed. Then I snapped one of two of the other monitor's explaining that if he could take our picture, so could we.
Seriously muddy
The march begins
You can see all the people in front of us, to the right. I was smack dab in the middle too - there were that many people behind us. Some news reports claimed there were less than a thousand people. Assholes.
Some pictures I stole from the WCW website
I've met this guy before and he was on our bus. Really, really cool guy.
