Warm up 1

1. A Circle:
Round, neverend, never touching because it never stops touching. It's empty in the middle part, encloses something. usually flat.
2. I spiral staircase:
A device in which to go up or down. ends in a flat surface that takes you to a new location, either above or below where you once were. Sometime decorative, sometime cold and un-flourished. Sometimes you take it too quickly and it breaks your neck.
3. classical music:
some say it's the epitomy of boredom. It lacks rock, they say. I say it is the foundation of true art. It's the backdrop to most artsy films. But what is it really? What's the description? The description of classical music: strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion, ocassional bells or harp or piano. They join together led by an ass, who tells them exactly the timing. All can enjoy it, but usually the rich. It's a form of nose upinthair at times. It transcends spoken word.
4. the color red
red is the color of heat. of love, of danger. It is the color of blood mixed with air, a blackbird's wing and a hangover's glossy eyeball. Red are the cherry colorings left by lollypops, shine of paten lether shoes, and lipstick.
5. hot soup
is soothing is burning is boring. Hot soup can be healing can cause indegestion and be spilled. Noodles, barley, rice and egg are covered in a matress of chicken or veggie or other animal stock. peppered with pepper or sage or tyme.
6. rain
nature's tears, mother earth's spit on its child's muddy face. Symbolizes change, sadness and death. It is cold, it is hot, it makes mud, it won't stop. It can change to a flood and make nations disappear.
7. the smell of a barbecue
of a good barbecue is the smell of the summer. of fresh cut grass and ginger ale. Of tired bones, and tight tendons, after working in the garden. There's a promise of a full stomach. A bad barbecue, is a reminder of death of comercialism. Of 100 moos, mooing before the walk to their death to feed just one burger on just one bun for just one bite. There's a promise of indigestion, of rich cattlers, better get more beer.
8. cold weather
Cold weather:
crisp cold bright sunshine brings glistening ice crusted snow to sing. A whipping wind pulls your coat a little tighter, but your fingers still sweat quietly beneath the wolly mishmash of coverings.

whoop! there are 22 more, but work be callin' me.
