A Prius for us
Well I have made the final decision on the vehicle I will be getting to replace my poor old Echo that was written off, a Toyota Prius. It was really either that or the Camry Hybrid for myself, but the selling aspect for the Prius was head room, this is actually an issue with many new cars, because compacts are built taller instead of sleeker I sit in them more comfortably (I'm terribly tall in the body, with dinky little legs), I actually hit my head on the door frame unless I'm really careful in many full size sedans. The second point is fuel efficiency, the Prius is about 25% more efficient then the Camry Hybrid and is the most efficient vehicle I can purchase straight through a dealer in Canada (the Smart car is slightly less efficent and uses Diesel, which here is more expensive then gas). The fuel efficiency is a real seller as gas is really only going to go up. It's also roomier then my old car meaning I'll be able to transport more without calling in favours which is cool. Has all the features you could ask for (Bluetooth integration, all major climate and radio controls on the steering wheel, backup camera, etc)
All in all I can't wait, just need to get out of this cast and figure out the best financial option.
