thanksgiving break
so this could potentially be a long update but i will do my best to compact it.
let's see since my last update i ended up going over to chase's to watch the movie and he did try to kiss me! ahh! i don't know what to do about him! This was on the monday after i got into the small fight with daniel.
the next day i went over to haynes to hang out with the guys and to let justin download some of my movies. its good to just chill with them. they make me laugh.
wednesday we had a lame fitness test for soccer and then afterwards i went to dinner with Amanda at monterrey's. we ordered monster margaritas! omg it was sooo big! i only finished like 2/3rd of it and i was full! we didn't even order food we just ate chips and salsa and drank. we made friends with the waiter and manager and i got to use my spanish haha. Then afterwards i went to chase's again which is probably a huge mistake. i don't know why i put myself in these positions.
I decided that i was going to leave on wednesday right after class so that i wouldnt' waste all of friday driving and i could make it back in time for my little sister's game so i got home at like 1:00 am that night.
Friday i went to kelly's game against canterbury. she scored 6 goals! yay kelly!
Saturday i just spent time with the fam. we went grocery shopping and playing games. it was pretty wild.
Sunday i kicked around with adrian and some people but my ankle was bothering me so i didn't get to play for long. I got a message from justin that said "hey its gareth, i love you, call me back!" haha that gave me a good laugh.
On monday i went to seton to pick up pies for my mom. no one recognized me! it was pretty weird to be there because only a few teachers are left that i know and the people who are seniors now were freshman when i was a senior so i hardly know anyone! I also went to the mall and got my job for christmas.
Tuesday i went to kelly's game against gateway. she scored 3 goals in that game. Afterwards me and my mom went to see harry potter! it was soooo good!!! i want to see it again.
On wednesday my mom made me go to work with her because she needed a lot of help in order to be able to get out of work for thanksgiving. After that i went to dinner with Tracy at Tommy Bahammas! i love it! she talked the whole 2.5 hours were there! so basically i ate and she talked. jon ryziw was there so we talked for a little bit too.
For thanksgiving we went up to Frt Meade. I was very disappointed because our Aunt Mary had invited us and thats where we always go but we had already said we would go to our grandparents. I don't enjoy pot luck thanksgivings. its not the same as the real thing home cooked with the family. but i still ate sooo much and got to see my grandparents who i haven't seen in awhile.
On friday kelly's tournament in plantation started so i went over there and watched two games. they lost the first and won the second.
Saturday we went back to plantation. they won that game too so they moved on to the semi finals the next day which of course i couldn't go to because i had to get back up to school. When i got home kelly and i went to see just friends but it was sold out and so was everything else except RENT which i wanted to see anyways. so we went to see that and it was very good. the songs keep getting stuck in my head. after that meghan called but i didn't get to see her because i had already told swartwout i would go over to dylans. this was the first i saw of anyone and i dind't get to drink or anything because i was leaving at 7 the next morning. it was good to catch up with mikey and stephen adn see some other people even if i'm not particularly good friends with them.
the next morning i left to come back to school. i really didn't want to come back especially not for just a week and a half just to go back again for a month.
in other news i got into alpha chi which is like the college honors society that they only accept the top 10% of the class. so thats cool.
I am so burnt out on athletic training tho and haven't done my paper that was due a month ago so i am in trouble with my teacher and i haven't been going to men's basketball practices which aren't required but i feel like i'm letting down the ACI.
I got into some audio books to make the travelign easier and they are actually a big help. i have so far "read" at first sight and the guardian by nicholas sparks and the chronicles of narnia the lion the witch and the wardrobe. i think for the way back i am getting the secret lifes of bees because it was recommended to me. i feel like a nerd haha.
