Chad gazes into Ryan’s beautiful blue eyes. He feels all the love in the world for the boy sitting next to him.
“I love you,” Chad says.
“I love you too,” Ryan replies back.
“I love you more,” Chan counters.
“That’s impossible,” Ryan retorts.
“Just shut up and kiss me,” Chad begs.
Ryan leans in to capture his lover’s sweet lips, but before he reaches his intended destination an orange slice hits him in the forehead.
Ryan rubs the juice off of his brow, then glares across the lunch table at his sister who is seated next to her boyfriend.
“What did you do that for?” Ryan demands.
“You guys really need to get a room. You’re worse than Troy and Gabriella.”
Ryan starts to protest, but is interrupted by the bell. Sharpay stands up from the table and grabs Ryan by the wrist.
“Zeke,” Sharpay says, “be a dear and throw away my orange peels.”
She turns and walks away dragging Ryan behind her.
Chad looks over at Zeke who is still seated across from him at the table.
“Hey man, we’re not that bad right?
“I don’t know. Sharpay won’t even let me hold her hand in public.”
