Her heart thumped wildly in her chest; knotted hair swept up in a worn hair tie. Razor-burned legs pined with dull aches from bug bites.
“Gabriella.”
His breath felt sweet and welcoming against her cheek. Seeing him belly down on her bed just a few minutes ago had left her feeling light and giddy.
“Troy.”
She whispered back against his lips, knowing what was to come. His hair was fluffed and messy from scrimmaging with Chad in the driveway.
Fluttery kisses against her eyes and nose before meeting her lips left tingles at the base of her neck and spine.
