The cliche about the best things in life are free is sometimes true (not always eg. a trip to Taiwan needs money). Well its true for me this afternoon...
Its been a while since i last took a unhurried stroll down Singapore River with a good friend. The weather was cool and the sights were beautiful. Green foliage rustling in the evening breeze. Interesting sculptures and plagues to read. The colourful shop houses juxtapose against the tall sky scrapers. Random conversations abt life's little revelations, the week past and our observations all trickle out as slowly and unhurriedly as our pace of walking...bliss!
To top it off, we had a lovely bak kut teh dinner! The best i ever had. Tender, juicy pork ribs in hot peppery broth. And to end the meal with cold durians....aahhhh
