"Celebration of Joy" by Dana Lo

Bought my first painting tonight.  Its neither a Monet nor a Van Gogh (I wish...), its a Dana Lo.  I'm really pleased with the purchase and i wont hv picked this out without the help of my significant other!!!

Why i like it?  Is subtle yet busy with details.  It doesnt scream for attention (despite the red).  It calls out to you to look further than just the surface.. Its texture is very interesting and yet there's a certain uniformity/constant that holds it all together.

So tell me what do you see...?

Oh and you can hang it up both ways :) i.e. vertical or horizontal
