summary:
chiharu kieko's a reckless 14-year-old whose dealt with her parents’ fights. up until they (finally) decide a divorce and, over custody issues, send her off to kei, her brother, in japan.

this story follows a troubled teen as she handles (and eventually accepts) the hectic messes round her and discoveries she makes. its a tale of family disputes, long lost siblings, homosexuality and bullies. as well as love and friendship bonds and betrayals.
