Just a little note to my readers (you few, you happy few... :D), I am not cool with the new cross-posting thingee that LJ has set up. Please don't cross post your comments from my journal to your other social networking sites. If you do, I will have to unfriend and that is a sucky thing...

Dat is all...

PS; I loves yous...please don't....

PPS: If this also annoys you, let LJ know! By way of myladyswardrobe:

There is a Feedback form here but you need to check the bottom option "Feedback" and then click Next and then fill in the form.

There is also a community called FEEDBACK.

And then there is the News Group where this was posted feedback. here with nearly 3000 comments on this issue.
More information on what actually happens when your comments are reposted here (first comment).

PPPS: Much love to technicolornina for setting up this little FEEDBACK POLL. (Go, vote!)

PPPPS: And to sstormwatch for locating the following information:

"I think the original source of this is from dydan via unmutual's post. I'm not knowledgeable enough to parse what xnguard posted about, so I'll share the general 'fix' I've been seeing:

Here's what you gotta do.

1. Go to your "Journal" menu, and select "Journal Style"
2. To the right, you'll see what theme you're using, with a link stating "Customize Your Theme". Click that link.
3. Scroll down a little ways, and you'll see that on the left side of your screen, you have multiple options to modify your theme. Click on the "Custom CSS" link, and it should load the options for doing Custom CSS.
4. From here, all you have to do is go to the "Custom Stylesheet", and put in that line:

.b-repost-item {display:none}

Once that's in there, you want to SAVE the changes, and you should be done. Leave everything else as it is (unless you want to remove more things!)."

The result should be that the repost ticky-boxes are no longer displayed.
