HIST 280 THE HISTORIAN'S CRAFT (3)
Three hours lecture per week
This is a survey course on the writing of history. Utilizes and analyzes library resources, oral interviews, and other material in the writing of history.

This class is going to be my favorite.. and most hated class this semester.
I love it, in that we are really doing research and in topics that are interesting.
My topic is (for the entire semester) Gary Kildall (basically created software). He was my first pick off the list~ (which ranged from Ford, Barbie, Genentech (which was my 3rd choice), Gates, Mac Steve's, Thomas Edison, mainly major innovators)
Awesome in the sense that, in this course we will know and understand the true inside workings of History and how to write and do research for a History paper. ^^*
Downside... 8, 2-3 page papers... to create a 16-24 page research paper on our topic.
We will have revisions/corrections made by our professor constantly and by abiding by those corrections... easy A really (he said it himself) he is here to teach us how to do this... but... ugh.. so many papers... however it is on one topic~ so honestly. This will be great. :D
I already bought one of the books, The Craft of Research which I am thrilled to literally read! ^^*

Time to crash early again... I am just so sleepy~ lol gnight!
