OOC | New adopted Wolverine is newly adopted
Just wanted to post a wee note that as of right now, Logan here has a new mun. He comes from the same headspace as the likes of drcampbell and texas33forever, so he's a new playground for me and a wee bit out of my comfort zone. Okay, a huge bit, but I'm game. Scotland didnae fight for freedom for nothing, aye?
His canon willnae encompass the new Wolverine movie because I havenae seen it yet. It's unlikely I will encompass once I see it, either. For the moment, only the first three X-Men films are going to be his background, with maybe some tiny pieces of comics here and there. Basically, I'm adopting him off his previous mun exactly as he was previously played. Most likely, he'll only exist to compliment his Rogue (justalilcontact) and Gambit (dontdotricks) in their princeton2nyc verse and their Rogue/Remy Verse Luxure. I'm not comfortable enough writing him at this point to venture into prompt writing with him beyond the likes of musebysentence.
Just a few points...
1) He willnae pine over Jean Grey. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. I have nay interest in exploring that side of his canon. Present and near future tense only, with some references to his past.
2) His previous RP relationship with allison_md is now no longer in existence. It faded when the mun had to unfortunately give up writing Cameron as a muse. From now, he never had a relationship with her. He's just been his usual single self hanging around Xavier's, watching out for Rogue and occasionally pulling LeBeau into line.
3) He is the godfather of Rogue and Chase's baby girl in their main verse, but that doesn't mean he knows what the hell to do with kids. He'll wing it, and does his best. He cares for them all unconditionally, but won't outright admit it.
4) Did I mention this is my first time writing him, or writing in the X-Men fandom? Please be kind. I'm doing it because Rogue and Remy need their Logan and I did enjoy the movies. Well, movie one. I thought the others could have been done better.
5) I'm going to hold off on buying this journal paid time until I find a comfort with his voice, so Plus account and 15 icons will have to do it for the moment, even though he has loads of awesome ones thanks to his prior mun.
I think that's all. Here's hoping I dinnae fall on my arse and suck immensely at this.
