what up gangstas...
so the FOUR day weekend. woop woop.
alright well last week was good. we womped cy falls 22-2. and friday the clints rawked your face off. i woke up at about 12 on friday and then went to kingwood where brett lives to practice for the night. my boy matt was there. that guy is probably the funniest guy i know. bretts rents werent at his house so we rawked extra loud. and we got to fuel and the band that i was really excited about called little compass. but they didnt show. so we ended up playing first. highlights of the show...sounding extra good. non stop laffter while playing because matt is the funniest guy iknow. he was throwing the keyboard everywhere. was awesome. so then we just chilled till the show was over. and we chilled with the guys from nadiri. and then we watched linkin park, n8s favorite band, oh i mean morningside drive. after the show we all went and hung out at bretts and my best friend was there nathan paul eguia. so many laffs were shared. and jason from amber was there. so at 2 in the morning we get this crazy idea of a thing called "taping." you take duct tape and place it sticky side up in the road and wait for a car to drive over it and while your inside a car that has gotten taped it makes an insanely loud amount of noise and it gets caught in the cars axle and its a pain to get out. so we did this to about 10 differant cars and this one truck seemed as if we had made it angry and the came after us in bretts backyard and then ended up in an all out cops episode. at about 3 45 we drove to clints to stay the night there. we said alot of funny stuff. and ended up going to sleep at 5 30 or so. we wake up the next day at 12 30 for another day of rawk. me and n8 proceeded in going to get the equipment then i had to talk to barbara. then we waited for our singer who lives in dallas btw. we all ran through the music and practiced choreography. which the chix dig. and after a while we left for javajazz. we were so excited we couldnt sit still. i was so happy. playing shows is the most fun thing ever in my entire life. we got there and unloaded and anticipated playing. there were really awesome people there tho. shout outs go to brett, marie, noel, laura, jason, kelsey, AND the brown eguia family that i love. so we played. we did great until my guitar got out of tune and the mics messed up, i messed up a bit but i fixed it. alot of sound problems happend cause of equipment. but i still think we had a great time. at least i know i did. we got done playing and i was tired but then i had the priveledge of watching new action hero. and then going driving in noel (brittnI) car. we had nice talks and it was good times. she is an awesome girl. then i watched next best thing. after the show we talked about goin to taco C with nbt and hanging out. i didnt really care. they are all really nice guys. but the other guys wanted to go back to clints. we go back and im super tired. so i lay on the floor for a while, and the guys um lets just say had fun. i did too. brett neu is the coolest guy. and quite funny. some of clints other friends came over too and i had no idea who they were. so there was like 8 people there and we all sat down and watched "the neverending story" but i dont get it. i mean it has to end sometime. ti he he. after i said that joke about 17 times justin got angry but i made up for it. and brett did too. so after the movie ended at like 3 i was like man im goin to bed. so i go lay down. and noel(brittnI) texted me from downstairs and we had nice talks through texts. and the next thing i hear is loud beats and i ask myself did clint invite some asians over or what cause it sounded like a rave. and i come down stairs after almost fallin asleep. and we busted out. we had the best techno beats ever on clints microkorg. and the best part. we had a strobe light and had all the other lights off. and we danced for about 45 minutes doing the funniest stuff. after i prooved i owned them in dance competions we sat down while clint entertained with the same song for about 30 minutes. we played the guess who game and he made fun of alot of bands and we have it all on camera that will be on the b team starter dvd in about a year.ti he he. so then after we all settled down we all found a place to sleep. i slept on the same couch i did as the night before. brittni and stephen slept on the other couch, but i wanted to punch them cause all they did was talk while i tryed to sleep. grrrr. i woke up to a phone call by barbara and then went home. mowed. laundry. cleaned. then bible study and watched a movie and here i am now. about to go to codys. and then who knows. so summing up the weekend so far. its been amazing. my abs hurt from laughing so hard. i love being in this band so much. much love to brett for being flippin hilarious. brittni noel butler for being such a nice person and driving from SA again just to see us. you still owe me a movie d8 for garden state. yesssssssss. and to the guys in the band. i wont ever take this for granted. i love it.
but for her ive learned to wait. a smile on my face remains still knowing. God hold her at night. Letting her know im on my way. so ill hold my head high. for love may be a day. i cant say but tomorrow awaits. bringing me closer to you.
