Busy Evenings...

There was another radio club meeting on Tuesday evening. I did a shopping run for supplies during the afternoon. For the second time this year we arrived to find the meeting hall still set out for another activity, so had to clear some space for presenter and audience. The talk, once we got to it, was interesting, and we managed to find enough space in the kitchen to prepare tea and coffee, so it could have been worse. The same section of road that had been closed on Monday evening was closed again, but I'd done some research, and found a slightly more direct way home than on Monday night, which was just as well.

On Wednesday evening there was an astronomical society meeting. It was the AGM, and as usual we had a short but interesting talk after it. It was quite late by the time I got home, and later still before I got to bed.

This morning I was awake in time for the morning's Morse practice broadcast, and conditions weren't too bad, but I did struggle with the 12 words-per-minute passage somewhat. The rest of the day has been fairly relaxed, but I have had a chance to do enough gardening to fill the garden waste bin before it gets collected in the morning. I'm looking forward to a relatively quiet evening.
