Three months later!

Once it gets to a certain point, I just don't want to bother updating this blog. There's so much to tell! But I've been writing here since the seventh grade so I figured I should keep it up.

Because I didn't take Microbiology this summer, I'm "not eligible" for the three-year Nursing program. Boo! But at least I'm in.. That's what I keep telling myself. I'm thinking I'll cancel my loan application, work part time and go to school part time. What do you think of that? I don't even know who reads this anymore. Let me know, regardless. See, if I get my loan, I have money for the computer which I need because I sold mine. But then I have to take three courses per term, and I only need one for the Fell and two for the Winter. So I'd be paying money to take courses I don't need. See what I mean? I'm so confused. Jay might be able to hook me up with a waitressing job, which would be the best thing. Hopefully that will work out.

Joe and I just got back from PEI. We went up Thursday the 19th, and we stayed at the PEI National Park in Stanhope. I missed camping! It was so much fun, cooking on the Coleman stove and setting up tarps in the rain! Aerosmith played on Saturday, and they were amazing. The concert venue kinda sucked, but we made the most of it. Camping was definitely the best part of the trip, though. We left the kitties at the Kitty Care Inn, near Truro. They got fed and watered and they were given fresh leafy catnip. They also had a corner balcony.. And I guess they loved it! We've learned, though, that Miko hates the car. Rocky couldn't care less, he was sleeping on the way home. Before we picked them up, we stopped at Joe's dad's house, because Joe's nan is visiting from Ontario. So I met her, and she's a sweet lady, she reminds me a lot of mom! Hopefully Joe can make it up this weekend to see her again.

Earlier in the month, Andrea, Jaime and I flew to Denver, Colorado and met up with Dad and Laurie, and we drove to Aspen. SO FUN! Laurie's parents and sisters were there, too. Her sister Susie has a timeshare at the Ritz-Carlton Club, and it was so fancy. They made your bed twice in one day (with different bedding), and at night they put little chocolates on the bed! We spent most days by the pool with a beer in hand, and we also went hiking at Maroon Bells. The beauty there is just stunning, and no picture could ever do it justice. I had so much fun on that trip, it's always SO nice to see dad and Laurie. They're coming up in December, because..

Jaime's pregnant!! YAY!!! She's due December 5, and she just felt the baby kick a few days ago. Everyone seems to think it's going to be a boy. I have no idea! Jaime's going to go to U-C-Baby to find out the gender. She wasn't going to but she changed her mind, once everyone started speculating! We're all so excited. This is a brand new chapter in all of our lives.. We're all learning new things from her pregnancy.

And that's about all that's new and exciting. I'm working part time at The Two Sisters, and part time at Sobeys, which means I rarely have a day off. It's okay though, it helps pay the bills. I'll update more often, now that ya'll are caught up on my exciting life!

Cheers :)
