Holidays
When exams finally ended on the 14th, I could finally relax. That Friday, Joe's dad came and picked us up, and we stayed with him and Bonnie until Monday. That was really fun. We all went to the U-pick together and brought a tree home, Rob put the lights on and Joe and I put the millions of ornaments on. Rob's cat Spanky loved the Christmas tree water.. The little jerk!
Then on Monday Rob drove us to Parrsboro to stay with Joe's mom and gram. That was nice because we got to see Jake, Aron, Ryan, Adam, and Jenn, and everyone else whose names I've forgot. We got to decorate Joe's gram's tree too, and we went to the Geological Museum, and later to the Tavern with everyone. On Thursday, Jocelyn drove us back to Truro where we stayed one more night. Rob and Bonnie opened my presents, and I opened theirs (flannel jammies and a hat, glove and scarf set!), and then on Friday Rob drove us to Halifax. Mom and Tom came up to Halifax to pick me up, so the parents got to meet, mom opened Joe's present (which she loved, and listened to all Christmas!), and Joe and Rob headed back to Truro, while mom, Tom and I headed to the Valley. That night I went up to Centreville to visit Sherry, and I got to see Stephen, Tyler and Alex too. I had so much fun that night! Jaime and Dave came to mom's on Sunday, and Andrea and Jay came on Monday. We had our Christmas after Tom's mothers' Christmas dinner, and then we watched The Family Stone. Andrea, Jay and I headed back to Halifax the next day, and Joe and I had our Christmas here. Then we watched The Polar Express, and then it was all over.
Bittersweet, because it was so busy.. But I love Christmas, and it's always a little sad once it's all over.
