A fairly productive week-end...

...OK, so it was a 4 day week-end.

Friday I got a full "winters" worth of fire-wood stacked and set in the barn, plus a bunch of junk wood (suitable only for pit-firing or such) covered and ready for the rains, plus all the turning wood under cover and ready(see note below).

Then the best part of Friday... Taking LOML out for dinner on our wedding anniversary.

Saturday I did laundry, plus spending a little time in the shop, I actually got the new handles done for the files.. A while back I was switching one handle from one file to another, and realized that the only file handles I had were old ones I got from my father tools... Then I realized, I have a lathe, I know how to make handles, so I did.

Sunday was more laundry and some cleaning, well, that plus some reading and not being out in the rain. Only it stopped raining, so I went out and got the low-voltage entry lighting fixed. Of the 8 lights, only one was actually working.

Monday was getting the door built and installed in the new shed, so now I can actually close it, that and mowing the lawn... Maybe for the last time (this year anyway)

Note: Only Monday I got a call that a friend has some fresh-cut wood for me to pickup, well, I will need more wood the next winter anyway. So know I have to move the turning wood and make more room for fire wood
