week-end wrap

Had a resonable weekend, went to the County Fair Friday, for the "in by noon for 0.25"; special, but we ended up not paying anything, as the couple in front of us paid the 0.50 to get us in.
Being a small county fair, it really didn't take that long to look at all the animals (except cattle and horses), see the enties (and note several friends and such that won awards), walk (really fast) through the commercial vendors and buy the (required) Fair Food.
Went to the Baronal picnic on Saturday and stopped to rescue the ducklings at angharadalbanes (the rats or such got in and killed several).
I also got the RV repaired, sanitized and watered, ready to go out on the next trip
I even got a few fun things done, put the turning blanks I had preped in storage, got the treadle lathe all preped for Port Gamble Forest Festival and even did a little turning. I even spent an hour-or-so, on the back patio, in the sun, reading and being with the dogs/cats (not the the outdoor cats pay any attention to me at other then meal times)

The weather though, bah-humbug. I tossed the cut-offs into the wash so they would be clean to be put away for the year. Tomorrows high is predicted at 61F (15C), in the long-range weather guess the warmest days predicted at only reach "average" highs. Looks like summer is over weeks early.... sigh. It might still get to a day when it was warm enough to wear them, but I will be at work that day (sigh)
