.... Good thing it's Monday, I couldn't handle another Sat/Sun, as SWMBO favorite saying goes... "You're not 25 any more"
I spent much of both days framing the new shed. OK, so all I have left with the framing is 6 roof rafters. The walls and and rest of the roof are done.
I would have gotten more done, but the framing nailer "jammed' Sat PM. So I put it aside and nailed the last of Sat work by hand. Then Sun AM I looked at and fiddled with the nailer, to decide it really needed to be worked on. Since 80% of Sunday's work as hand-nailing anyway, I just did it all by hand....
So I didn't finish framing like I wanted to.
I do love framing tie-plates though. If I was doing a lot more I would seriously look into one of the special tie-plate nailers, but at $250 to $400 I wouldn't get my money out of one.
Tonight, no work on the shed, I will work on the nailer instead, although I am afraid I will need to get a gasket rebuild kit for it (never had to replace the gaskets and the nailer must be close to 10 years old)
