Highlights of the Week
Sunday:
-I sold my car!!! It was sold for $925...cheap i know but now i can get a GOOD car that can go to tons of places.
-Drove to Antioch to pick up Kia and Jacob after Ang (CJ's Sister) asked us to since she couldn't get them until like 2. We drive to Jason's house, the place where they're staying, and Jason tells us that they went over to a friend's house. Oh, and did I mention, he had no idea where that was? So here Rachel, CJ, and I are driving around wasting gas trying to find two kids walking the streets of Antioch...great. After two and a half hours, Ang calls and says Kia just called and that she knows where they are and that she would pick em up. We have a nice little reunion with hugs and promises to come visit in sacramento once i get my goddamn car.
-Summer of Love 2007 was at the Pleasant Hill Park. It was a LOT of fun!!! Mike, Theresa, Larry, Rachel, Jenni, Dave, Kia, Ang, Jacob, Kaden, and a whole bunch of hippies are there. There was great music and i got a nice buzz off of Corona and budddd mannn. I also got kissed on the lips by this really old fat guy. *shivers* i felt molested.
*creepy sidenote: after everyone was super drunk a huge incident occured. this long-haired hippy guy who was in a wheelchair was irrately drunk to the point where he started to pick fights with people. I guess he got in a heated argument with this guy who was there and it started getting a little violent. This guy named John tried to break it up and the guy in the wheelchair thought he was trying to start something as well. Wheelchair Man tears John's shirt off and is getting really mad. John's wife comes up and tries to stop it too. He calls her really really mean names and so she tells him to cool down while dumping a bottled water out on his lap. Wheelchair man gets a view of John and starts to charge him in the wheelchair. All of a sudden a woman comes up behind him, grabs ahold of his hair in her hand, and yanks him hard on the ground. By this time, wheelchair man is beyond irrate. People are trying to help him up and he's punching (while on his back still, mind you) at them. This lasts for well over five minutes. Finally, they get him up. Everyone is looking at the lady that yanked him down with such disapproval. They're all saying and thinking the same thing. You DO NOT disrespect someone like that no matter how irrate they are. There are a lot of other solutions than that. She's just standing around smiling and acting like nothing happened. Someone asks her to leave and she does. Everyone started going home after that cause it was no longer a Summer of Love but of fighting.
Tuesday: Went swimming with Rachael, Jenni, CJ and Dave. That was fun. The hot tub was really nice. I actually didn't get nausious! I got to see Jenni and Keith's new house. It's really nice! I love how the living room area is secluded from everything else.
Other than that, I've been going to school and work a lot. Classes are going well and work isn't so bad...i guess. I'm going to get a loan i hope tomorrow so i can get a nicer car *cross fingers* and Erin's birthday barbecue is tomorrow as well. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIN!!! Greg is back in town so he took my shift tomorrow so I can actually go. CJ is going to go too which will be good cause then he can see what MY friends are like rather than us always hanging out with his. Sean came over yesterday which was really cool. OH!!! and i'm pregnant....
