I got hitched!
Hitched! With rings and licenses and everything!
Admittedly, it was cold, and soggy and kinda muddy. And I could have been much more thorough in my planning.
But I married my boy. And now I'm a wife. How bizarre is that one?
And now I have more responsibilities than I did 3 days ago. Although admittedly, he does pretty well at taking care of himself, but still. I gots me ANOTHER title. Besides daughter, friend, sister. WIFE.
Scary, a little. Promising to take good care of somebody, when before I just had to take care of me. Maybe this is why people get married before having the babies. Learning to take care of a reasonably functioning human being before trying to take care of a helpless, incoherent little mess. Like practice, or something.
And now I have all this family. I have a little sister now! She's 7. 7!!!
So I'm still settling in, and wow.
