I need not describe my current circumstances. The whole of Vertere, it seems is afflicted by this latest whim of The Powers That Be.

A mere doll in their hands, I may be, but my life before being spirited away to this place has taught me that even dolls are not bereft of resources.

I have not lost hope.

I am very new to Vertere, and thus largely ignorant of it's geography and ways. I am trying to learn as much as I can about the current situation.

I'm afraid I haven't been here long, either. This is the first time I haven't had my son or his friends to assist me.

No one seems able to leave his assigned area which are governed by...Avatars?
