World Cup
This was a post I had intended to post a few days before the World Cup. But then things got crazy busy with school and packing for South Africa that I just didn't finish the post. But now that it is over (and my precious Dutch team fell to Spain in the final game) I now have some time to look back on the many beautiful faces of the month-long competition. And there were many attractive footballers this World Cup...
But let me just start first with this little blurb I wrote awhile ago and then you can enjoy the pretty faces.
One would think that I would sit here and lay out my predictions and projected winners for each group, the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final game. But...no. That isn't me. Here's my prediction. Holland wins it all. Sure it's a bit of a stretch. They're often considered the "best team to never win a World Cup." Well I'm boldly predicting that this is their year. And that USA team. They'll make it out of the group stages. I feel this is one of the best teams they have put together. And I think they have a great chance against England, that very first group game. I'm still in the midst of packing up. I'm hanging up clothes, arranging match attire, lining up my toiletries, doing some laundry (finally). I'm almost prepared.
