It dawned slowly on Hrafntinna that she was annoyed not to have awakened to find a heap of candy awaiting her.
Jumping into a pair of jeans, she rushed out of the house to the supermarket and the drugstore and bought $30 worth of crap chocolate in the form of mini eggs, malt eggs, dark chocolate eggs, marshmallow eggs, and a 7 oz. solid chocolate rabbit. She rushed back home and tossed her catch onto the kitchen counter. After kicking her boots off, she poured a portion of all the smaller candies into a ceramic bowl full of raffia, unwrapped the bunny, and without delay proceeded to bite off his ears.
She feels like balance has been restored.
