I posted "Pieces of the Dead" to my ff.net archive earlier today. The results were really quite interesting. I hope you continue to upload your fics to ff.net. I don't read fics there unless one is recommended to me, but the nice thing about it is that if I like a story it's easy to see what all else the author has written in any fandoms he/she writes in. LJ might have all of an author's stories in the same place, but it's not an archive as such and finding all of them is more difficult than at an archive. And other archives are easily searchable, but generally confined to a single fandom. Besides, ff.net is so huge that there's a far smaller chance of it going the way of the dodo than just about any other archive out there. I've had too many of my favorite archives close over the past few years--and when that happens there are always at least a few fics I can't find anywhere else. It is incredibly frustrating. The more places a story is, the greater the chance of being able to find it again.
