Part 2 of the Brilliant Event “A Weasley Predicament” Starts Today
ProfessorKitana is once again filling in for OrangeWizard. It's the middle of the night, so here's hoping I've got everything right, but I wanted to pass on what I knew as and when I learnt it.
To speed up the runestone collection in task 2, DO NOT VISIT THE EVENTS PAGE before you reach task 2. Remember the game now forces you to do so whenever you could theoretically place an image. That means PLACE ALL IMAGES ON THE EVENTS PAGE NOW or LET ANY OF THE 19/20 or 20/20 foundables pass. It’s up to you to figure out which approach will cost you more EventXP and XP.
For Task 1:
* If you don’t have a lot of ingredients spawning where you are, freeing up a slot in your portkey vault by using an unlocked portkey will trigger more to appear.
* Queue potions with short brewing times. They can be queued before the event, but remember not to perform Master Notes until the event starts. That's what counts. Continue to queue potions with short brewing times and leave as many as possible uncollected to get a jump on Task 3.
* Use TFTD to get the Weasley Clock to appear.
For Task 2:
* Good luck.
* "Foundables Guarded by Gnomes" include Acromantula Eggs, Sorting Hats, the Quibbler, Howlers, Quidditch Fan Luna Lovegood and the Beater's Bat. They're boosted with TFTD.
* It’s okay to visit the events registry page now. You can collect runestones by returning Brilliant Foundables, opening Portkeys from this event or from Part 1, or from fighting fortress battles with Weasley Predicament BE Runestones.
For Task 3:
* Continue to queue potions with short brewing times and leave as many as possible uncollected to get a jump on this Task. Remember that you can use the rental cauldron to store a few more potions to speed this up. Also keep in mind that you can only perform Master Notes on the first of any such group of potions.
* You’ll need TFTD.
For Task 4:
* Remember BBE boosts the XP, more fellow combatants in a Fortress boosts XP, higher Fortresses give more XP.
* Good luck again. At least they aren’t in a row.
* It varies if we get the note pieces from this event’s BE foundables or all Brilliant Foundables, so I can’t tell you in advance. Keep your eyes peeled to see.
There’s a bonus round again; whether it’s worth the energy consumption is up to you. If your mobility is limited, completing it will get you the required 5 Gnome Portkey Fragments for your registries. To maximise EventXP for the Portkeys, if you're planning to complete the bonus, either don't open Brilliant Event 2 Portkeys at all before finishing the bonus, or open five of them.
It doesn’t appear to require us to place any images from the event, you’ll gain more EventXP (and thus runestones) by not doing so with the 20/20 Fragments until the event is over.
