"Ron!" Hermione shouted. "I've got a letter from Rose!"
Ron came in from the other room. "Really?" He sat on the sofa next to her. "What's it say?" He tried to read over her shoulder.
Hermione scrunched protectively over the letter. "It says she's in Ravenclaw. And that you owe me five galleons. Which I believe you do."
"Fine," Ron grumbled. "I'll go get it later. Let me see Rose's letter!"
"No!" She smacked his hands away. "She addressed it to me, I get to read it first. Now go get me my money." She shoved him away.
Ron was rummaging about in the kitchen drawers when he heard Hermione curse under her breath. It didn't happen all that often, so he was attuned to notice whenever she did. "Ron! You better call Harry." He heard her shout at him.
He walked back into the living room shoving a biscuit in his mouth. "Wha' d'ya mean I haveta call 'Arry?" He mumbled through the crumbs.
Hermoine rolled her eyes at Ron. After over twenty years of knowing and living with her husband she'd gotten used to him talking with his mouth full. "Here, you have to read this." She said, handing him the letter.
Ron took the letter slowly. "What's Rosie have to say?" He quickly skimmed the letter, then slowly read it again and Hermione could tell when he'd read that Al was in Slytherin. "I have to floo Harry."
Hermione sighed. "Use the phone. I don't want to have to clean you up twice tonight. I think it's in the kitchen." And off Ron went to go give Harry a piece of his mind.
