This week's theme was tricky. Again, I've resorted my list, to hopefully make it a little better. (Hopefully I'll be more on track next week...)

Without further adieu, this week's theme is Deaging Fics. This means any fics where one of the characters are turned into children, by either

The only way I can really define a creature!fic is that one of the main characters is a creature of some kind (veela!Draco or werewolf!Harry).

However, this means any fic involding Fleur (who is, I believe, half veela), Remus, or Greyback is an auto-in for that category. I would put a cap on it if you have that theme. Maybe creature!fic where the "creature" is not already canon (aka, those listed above as well as Dobby or even Bill).

And on a theme note, I so should have put Growing Pains here. XD oops.

and i think there are certainly enough creature fics to warrant several separate lists -- at least half the bonding fics i've read are also creature fics, though for a variety of creatures.

also, does creature fic include tentacle!porn? *grins*

First off, I would definitely split the creatures. If not into four categories, at least into two. I don't read a lot of them but I know there are tons.

Dang, I've just gotten up, at 5:00 AM to compile the Remus/Sirius unusual careers fics that I know of because this was hell week for me. I hope you'll still include them!

I'm also assuming that by creature!fics, you mean a character who was not a being in the HP canon such as Remus or Fleur. Or would Remus be included if the story focuses on an aspect of his lycanthropy. To be honest though, I believe that fans of creature!fic aren't interested in Remus or Fleur or JKR's version of their affliction or abilities.
(I don't believe that I know of a single "creature fic" that is about a non-canon creature. So I'm off the hook there. Very curious to see if a single one will be anything but Drarry or Snarry.....)

Re: Creature Fics, I would say that there are definitely enough Veela and Vampire fics to warrant seperate lists, Werewolf fics I find harder to find. Mostly I would define Creature!Fics as a genre as ones in which people discover they are/are turned into a non-human being, (excluding animagery, for example, but including Wing!Fics) there are some really interesting and unsual types however and I would probably also be tempted to include fics which deal with canon 'creatures' only if the fic focusses on the 'creature' aspect of their being (eg not every fic with Remus Lupin in,but ones in which he deals with his early changes, or experiences specifically as a werewolf- eg different senses etc, this is kind of borderline stuff though so I would use discretion)

I don't have a lot of deaging fics, I'm afraid, though I look forward to reading the list.
