Ooo... I love it. This story is so unique - I've read a rather pathetic large amount of fanfiction over the past three years, and I've never come across a story quite like this before. It is creative, but it works. Sometimes, the creativity of a story can cause the reader to be unable to suspend their disbelief. I didn't have a problem like that at all when reading your story.

The wording throughout the story is also quite lyrical and beautiful. I love the way that you create the images in the story so that they stand out. Also, the way that you wrote the last scene is just marvelous. I love the image there of each of them smiling at "the memory that escaped". What a perfect line.

The plot of the story is also creative and nicely done. You try a different style in this fic and you stick to it and make it work. I like the backwards-forwards theme very much and I think that it makes this fic even more intriguing. This fic is well balanced between silliness and humor and good plot. This is a wonderful fic and a great addition to this gift-fic contest.

*blushes* ♥ Gee, wow, I think that's one of the best reviews I've ever gotten. I'm glad you liked it so much to leave such nice words and what you thougth worked about it. Telling the story backwards was one of the things I thought would throw people, being a bit to artsyfartsy for my own good, but you obviously made it through unscathed.

well balanced between silliness and humor and good plot - now if only I could do that with all my fics i'd been in a much better place *hahaha*
