10. Creeping Perfectionism is NOT my friend. Everything that I write is put through numerous drafts...
This is the reason I keep two blogs. One is for keeping in touch with friends and fun, chatty stuff with grammar & spelling depending on the length of time I have to type. The other, on a different blog site, is for more lengthy detailed stuff. I don't publicize that one and it's under a name none of my friends would recognize. My on-paper journaling goes in fits & spurts and is more extemporaneous. It also tends to be in any of a bazillion notebooks. (If anyone tries to archive my shit after I die they will have real trouble trying to put things in any kind of chronological order. I know better than to even try.)
Here is some sympathy from another lurker. I rarely post either, but I check in frequently to see what my children are doing. I enjoy the posts of the Scott men ... always something interesting going on in their heads :) Anyway, I have my own top ten list. Perfectionism is definately on it also. I'd blame it on being an English teacher, but it is really more of an obsessive/compulsive thing. How are you coping without daughter?

Most of the time, I'm doing fine. She's living her dream, and how could I not be proud and happy at that? We talk frequently on line, or on the phone (thank you, Goddess, for free long distance!), and I remind myself a lot that her life is not about me

Ahhhh the perpetual lurker...
Gotta love the lurkers. If it weren't for lurkers some of us wouldn't have anyone reading our jourals! :)
BTW, about the Samhain thing..... well, I gotta see if I can re-arrange a few things. But I would love to come!
