Intro + Staff Meeting

First-off, I just wanted to say hello. I'm Misha, aka multiclassgeek, and to paraphrase Troy McLure, you may have heard of me from such RPGs as Alex's First-Ever Sunday Marvel Game, or wizardwatch. I'll be your headmaster, Horace Slughorn, for the duration of the game

Hey ^^

The staff meeting post was awesome, and yep I'm all good with there being a new 'getting down to business' post.

The only problem is that our potions mistress and head of Hufflepuff seems to be MIA. I emailed her yesterday, but no reply as of yet. The character will be easy enough to write out cause her husband isn't happy with her teaching as she's pregnant. Brianna, if you're reading this please contact me. So yeah that may be a bit of a problem... If she's not up for playing anymore I'll leave the Head Hufflepuff and/or Potions Professor character open to any player who has only one character... For this new post I think it's just best to say she's not been able to make the meeting... leaves room to change things later.

I popped an email off to Rose and Marcus' players (though the email for Alex seems not to work; is it .com or .co.uk?) myself, so we'll see what happens.

If it does turn out that our Head of Hufflepuff isn't going to be returning, will we hang fire on the start of term, or just move ahead anyway?

As for the other teachers, I see no reason why people who haven’t had the chance to rp yet couldn't just pop in as Hagrid or something on a temp basis. It would give them a chance to play and let the unclaimed characters interact if only just a bit.

Alex is .com and I’m sure he'll reply eventually. He seems to be a busy man, but he has a good character.
Not all of us can get to a computer on a daily basis. XD

I don't want people taking character's on a temporary basis. It's unfair if someone comes along at a later date and wants to make that character their own. I also think everyone has had the chance to arrpee so far.

Alex knows exactly what's going on, he's just been working ALL THE TIME!

Is Sybill Trelawney still there? Is she a teacher or is she just living there?

I think she's retired; probably living in a little cottage somewhere (near Hogsmeade?)
