Rose Weasley is the first child of Ron and Hermione Weasley. Rose has inherited the Weasley red hair and her mother’s brown eyes. Much to Rose’s relief though, her hair does not have the very bushy tendencies of her mother.
Rose has a very good relationship with her mother. They're both smart, both bookworms and although Rose tends to be less bossy than her mother was, this doesn't mean she won't stick to her guns and argue her case for hours on end.
On the other hand, Rose feels as though her father doesn't understand her at all. She has often heard late night arguments (thanks to her Uncle George's "extendable ears") between her mother and father, which basically consist of her mother reprimanding her father and trying in vain to explain the joys of books.
She has a healthy sibling rivalry with her younger brother Hugo. Rose sees him as a bit of a pest and interfering and annoying at the best of times. In any case, due to her large extended family there is much more to be said about Rose's relationships. There is her Aunt Ginny and Uncle Harry. She gets along with them and her cousins well although she has been known to call James a "prat". She is good friends with Albus and Lily. As her other cousin Victoire is six or so years older than her, they aren't "friends". Victoire tends to look at Rose as a sort of cute little sister.
As anyone who would dare to cross her would soon find out, she has quite a fiery temper. If there was ever one spell that Rose’s mother could never quite master, it would be the Bat-Bogey Hex. However, under Aunt Ginny’s guidance, Rose seems to be having no such problems (or any qualms about casting it on her brother). Just don’t call her Rosie. Rose’s opinion is that it sounds patronizing and twee. Her father, Ron is probably the only person who can get away with calling her Rosie and even then Rose will more likely than not grimace and shoot him a (well-deserved, in her opinion) death glare.
