Just something I was thinking about today...
I have a lot of so-called "guilty" pleasures.
Like music by the Killers, for example. And this new Weezer song that really doesn't even deserve to be called a Weezer song, but is for some reason just so damn catchy- "Perfect Situation."
I also am addicted to Andrew Sullivan, Arianna Huffington (nice mix, see), warliberal.com, google news, livejournal, facebook, myspace and my e-mail accounts.
Thus, I am completely non-productive when there is an internet connection within reach all the time.
And I'm going to the beach on Sunday, and it's supposed to fucking rain. And be cold. And I just can't bring myself to care. As long as I'm not expected to do anything worthwhile, I'm happy sitting on the beach, watching the ocean in the rain. Actually, it's almost as good as the sunshine because the ocean is more impressive, although less aesthetically pleasing, when it's stormy.
By Friday, I will have:
Finished up everything for press day at work.
Taken my psychology exam.
Taken my Italian quiz.
Read half of the book for my history paper.
And then I will drink to spring break.
