No, Hell has Not Frozen Over
I've spent the last week or so visiting the blogs of my two best friends, Brandy and Dunia. They both encouraged me to 'get involved' (which they knew I wouldn't, because I never do these kinds of things) -- but I wanted to surprise them with my very on journal! So, no, hell has not frozen over -- I've simply decided to succumb to peer pressure (aka Dunia asking me every day if I am going to begin a journal...is this stalking? Yes. Yes it is.)
I just finished lecturing a vibrant group of aspiring political scientists here at Texas A&M. Actually, since it is Friday and their class began at 8:30 am, they weren't really vibrant -- more like cognizant. Nonetheless, we got to talk about interesting things like Iraqi elections, the US bureaucracy, and political (voting) behavior. (Yes, I said voting behavior -- not to be confused with my love affair with political institutions). As an aside, please beware that I like to use the "--" mark. A lot.
