Request Submissions Post
For those of you who've already read this at rwhgficexchange, please go ahead and skip down to the form, if you haven't marked "yes" for the OBHWF option in your R/Hr fic request (meaning you would like the fic to be predominantly OBHWF. Therefore, brief mentions of the other pairing do not fall under this classification).
Please note that, for the Christmas/New Year's exchange, all fics are to be centered around one or both of those holidays, for obvious reasons. As the fics for this exchange are to be written for specific holidays, I am not asking, but stating as a requirement that appropriate themes and settings from these holidays be incorporated in all fic requests and submissions.
For this exchange, you may request up to three specifics for your fic and, in addition, request for the author to include other religious holidays that occur around the same time, such as Hanukkah or Kwanzaa, if you wish to do so. As Christmas and New Year's are the main holidays observed in the Harry Potter series, however, they will be the main focus of this exchange. Simple as that.
Also, to maintain a sense of secrecy, all usernames will be omitted from the request masterlist, and comments on the request-making and request-claiming posts will be screened. Not to say that you are to omit information from the forms I provide for you to fill out; they must all be complete, or your request/claim will be voided (I'll give you a little nudge as a warning beforehand, though, so there should be no reason why anyone should turn in a partially-finished form).
For those of you who would like to have a nice helping of One Big Happy Weasley Family love, rwhgficexchange will be opening and running an exchange during the same time. Sound complicated? It's really not. There's an area on the request form where you can request to have both pairings featured predominantly in your fic.
If you choose this option, however, keep in mind that you are still only allowed a maximum of three specifics for the request, and that you may not request a fic more than once in either community. Meaning, once you've made a OBHWF fic request in either this comm or rwhgficexchange, you've reached your limit. If you would like two separate stories, you may make one request per community.
Besides that, all the other regular rules and regulations regarding making requests apply. See the community profile for the official rules and guidelines. More information for those interested in fulfilling these requests will be posted later on after request submissions are closed.

The request submissions session begins today, November 16, 2006, and ends at midnight Eastern Standard Time on November 26, 2006. The request masterlist will be posted shortly afterwards, and writers will then be able to claim which requests they'd like to write.
So, what are you waiting for? Go make a request already!
Regarding more trivial matters, I apologize for the half-done look of this community; it will look more polished in the weeks to come.
I've also thrown together a little promotional banner, and I'd very much appreciate it if you guys could just copy-and-paste the code provided below into an entry on your journal, or your userinfo. Or wherever else you'd like to post it. ;-)
