Best of 2009 Awards
2009 may be over and done with, but the fabulous fic and gorgeous artwork we loved all year will live on. Which pieces will you remember? What stories have you added to your list of favorites over the last twelve months?
Nominations are now open for hpgw_otp's Fifth Annual Best Of Awards! Please take a minute to nominate your favorite stories and pictures, as well as the talented authors and artists who created them. We'll compile the nominations and everyone can vote on their favorites.
Rules & Guidelines for Nominations:
The awards are only for stories and artwork originally posted in 2009, with the exception of the Overall Contribution Award. If a chaptered story is released serially, at least 3 chapters must have been posted in 2009 for the story to be eligible. Please nominate only one piece per category, and stick to Harry/Ginny works only. For the artwork categories, canon scenes or individual portraits of Harry or Ginny are also eligible!
Each story or artwork may be nominated in up to three categories, and each author or artist may be nominated in up to six categories in the artwork or fiction divisions; this does not affect the individual categories. If more nominations are received, final categories will be those with the most nominations.
For the voting round, there will be a maximum of fifteen nominees in each category. An author/artist may have only one story/piece of art in each category, so that no one is forced to compete against their own work. If more nominations are received, the works with the most nominations will run.
Only publicly available pieces will be considered. Authors and artists may not nominate themselves. Past winners of the Lifetime Achievement Award are not eligible for the Overall Contribution category -- congratulations again to VelvetHope, cicatrixstories, stmargarets, Seviet and r_becca! Ineligible nominations will be eliminated prior to the voting round.
