We're Back! ... suggestions for 4th wave challenges...
We're back!
Thanks to a couple nudges and pokes from hpgw_ficafest friends, we're now open for a 4th wave of ficafest challenges! lissa_maylee, Missie, will be joining me as a moderator for our community so please welcome her on the team and give her lots of hugs. XD If you'll check it out, the user info page has been updated with all the new dates and links and soon after this entry, I'll post an updated list of FAQ. You should be able to find all of these links located in memories and on the user info page. Also, thank you to _odella_ for letting us use her artwork as part of our new background!
As of today, Wednesday, February 1st, we will be accepting ideas for challenge prompts. The theme for this wave of ficafest artwork and fanfiction is "location". There'll be two categories, At-Hogwarts and Post-Hogwarts, and this is your chance to name all sorts of places - countries, areas, cities, villages, or buildings. We won't be accepting rooms like the Gryffindor common room or the Great Hall (eta: and that includes bedrooms). Suggestions will be closed next Monday, February 5, so that they'll be ready to claim next Wednesday. Please use the format in the following examples for your suggestions to make it easy for us to organize the list.
Examples:
At-Hogwarts - forest
At-Hogwarts - Ireland
Post-Hogwarts - Ollivander's - Makers of Fine Wands
Post-Hogwarts - Great Wall of China
... so comment below with your suggestions! Don't forget to spread the news that the ficafest is open. ;)
eta: Please note that while rooms are places, we'd like the location theme to be broader than just rooms... more like cities or historical buildings or foreign countries. Thanks for your suggestions so far and keep them coming!
