Ginny was sure she had heard the floo network as she awoke in bed. She grabbed her wand on the beside cabinet (She never kept it to far away, history had taught her that) and she impulsively ran down the stairs. She stunned whoever it was before they could attack her in the dark. It wasn't until the voice that it clicked. “Ouch” came the voice as they hit their head on the mantelpiece. She knew that voice. “Lumos” she said. She was right, Harry was standing right there. “What are you doing here? You're supposed to be on a mission! You scared the living daylights out of me.” she said, still reeling at the revelation of his return. It sounded harsher than she wanted it sound. “ I got a days leave” he said and smiled at her. She summoned some ice from the kitchen and placed it on the bruise on his head. She pulled herself closer to him and kissed him. “it's so nice to have you back.” she said. “It's the best birthday present.”. “Do you not want this one then?” he asked, pulling a jewellery box from his pocket.
