A/N: I immediately thought of Wash Away Those Years by Creed when I saw the prompt so that's what inspired this.
Harry sat in his bed stunned, furious, horrified at what Ginny had just spilled to him. She'd come to him one early morning. He'd thought he was doing the right thing by breaking up with her but apparently not. Then to learn she'd never truly gotten passed the Chamber incident. He wanted to go maim each of those who'd hurt her. But then the silent tears soaking his sleep shirt brought him back to the girl in his arms. Pulling her close, he hoped he'd say the right thing.
“You're not alone. Maybe we can wash away those years.”
