The rise of heterosexual pairings
This is what I think is happening. First, I fell completely in love with Smallville's Clark and Lois and now here we go Prince of Persia. Dastan and Tamina are just hot together. Makes me want to venture into het writing. I haven't done anything like that so this should be pretty exciting. I may have given up trying to write a Brian/Justin fanfic, at least 80% of me has given up. There are already too many writers writing for the fandom anyway. *LOL* I have noticed the lack of Alexander/Hephaistion, at least in the communities I go to. I have not completely given up writing for my favorite A/H. Never! But het writing is very tempting at this point. I really want to contribute to Dastan/Tamina because there are only very few stories as of this time. Hopefully, the fans will grow as well as the fandom. Alexander fandom was like this at the start and hopefully, I have done my share of fun for all A/H shippers and hope to do more in the future!
