FOUND! - [lost fic] Draco goes to live with the Dursleys (not drarry)
Hi! I’m looking for a fic! It was on ao3 but if someone finds it on a Different website i won’t complain!
Basically it’s about if, the summer before sixth year I think? Draco’s mom convinces him it’s a bad idea to work for Voldemort. So Dumbledore takes him to the dursleys because of the super strong blood wards. There Draco learns the dursleys are abusing him. He try’s to act as like a sort of protector in a subtle Slytherin way. I think specifically there’s a scene where Draco steps out of the property and death eaters come find them. The ministry is notified of the spells Harry and Draco are using and show up. Then Medicare wizards show up? And Draco over hears the witch taking care of Harry worry over his scars and bruises.
I remember this fic was focused on Harry and Draco friendship. Not drarry. I think the title has the word prince in it somewhere.
