Fic Recs Please (2 asks)

I have only recently gotten into the Harry Potter fandom and would like some recs for two fic scenerios I want to read so badly I can feel my brain trying to frizzle out as I search for something to scratch this itch.
Scenario 1 - I would like some fics that deal with the general incompetence of the teachers at Hogwarts and if possible just how that would effect not only the way the students act with each other but how they act towards the teachers themselves. Trust doesn't seem to be in much supply at Hogwarts.
Scenario 2 - Any fics that deal with the absolute horror fest that seems to be a constant in that world. Be it the actions taken during the first wizarding war (vigilante justice, mishandling of cases in every direction, how the prophecy was handled, what happened to the Longbottoms, etc.). The negligent things that happened at the school during the books (cerberus in the school, troll in the school, basilisk in the walls, etc...). Or the fumbling and criminal actions of the people in power (nearly having Sirius kissed at the school after not allowing him a trial, sending Hagrid to prison just to be seen as "doing something", sending the dementor after harry or even just allowing them on school grounds). Basically any good fics that call people out (no matter who they are) and the never ending poor choices made by everyone at all times.
I would also like some good gen fic recs. Nearly everything I've found is geared more towards pairings.
