I feel like it may be this story. Lily gets jealous of Harry being close to Severus tries to one up him and prove she’s the “real” best friend, not knowing that they’re dating. James has to tell her while they’re all at a party. The mauraders are all idiots and don’t trust Harry and still think Severus has a thing for Lily until they realize they’re dating. It’s a really good story that I’m still hoping will be updated.
