In her fourth year, Narcissa saw that boys had started noticing her. Narcissa was not a silly girl. Her mother had taught her about men, and about the power that a woman had over them. While she desired pleasure, she couldn’t waste her power on just any boy. As a Black, she needed to be careful.
So when Bella snuck into her bed into her dormitory late one night, Narcissa realized that Bella already knew about her problem, and had the solution.
Bella slid her hand over Narcissa’s thigh and whispered: “There’s nothing to be afraid of.”
And there wasn’t.
